1. Naga Fireballs

Enigmatic fireballs appear from the depths of the Mekong River ( Thailand ) every October. The spheres - reddish and egg-sized - rise to a height of up to 200 meters and then disappear. They have been seen for centuries and legend says that river snakes breathe fire to call Buddha and return to earth.
2. Kepler 78b

This exoplanet, similar in size and density to the Earth, is covered with lava and orbits its star Kepler-78, located in the constellation of Cygnus, every 8.5 hours. It remains a mystery, how the Kepler-78b could form so close to its star (100 times closer to what the Earth is to the Sun )
3. Dark flow

It is a name of a hypothetical force that pushes large galactic clusters through the universe at speeds of vertigo. The phenomenon, detected by astrophysicists in 2008, is not explained by known gravitational forces, but according to some theories the source of this large-scale movement may be from outside the observable universe .

5. Sound of the Pacific:

An unidentified sound coming from the depths of the ocean Pacific has puzzled scientists since 1991. The sound seems to be seasonal, usually reaching peaks in spring and autumn, but it is unclear whether this is due to changes in the source or Seasonal changes in the propagation environment. Whales and undersea volcanoes have been considered as possible causes of this phenomenon.

6. The Beast of the Sea of Cincinnati

Known for its tentative name of 'Godzillus' or 'Beast of the Sea of Cincinnati', this strange fossil was discovered in 2012. Archaeologists are not even sure whether it is the remains of an animal or a plant. Godzillus is 450 million years old and was found in a rock layer near Covington, Kentucky (USA) by amateur paleontologist Ron Fine.
7. Paleodictyon Nodosum

It is an enigmatic creature that lives in the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic and constructs perfectly hexagonal burrows. Scientists try to find one of these beings, which has not evolved for more than 500 million years. They were believed to be extinct until similar structures were found on the ocean floor in the 1970s. At the moment, scientists do not know how these burrows are formed, nor what organism makes them.
8. Antikythera mechanism

It is one of the first mechanisms composed of differential gears (the earliest known cases until this discovery date from the sixteenth century), represents an astronomical computer capable of predicting the positions of celestial bodies. In addition, scientists believe the device had significantly more 'smart' capabilities. Although they do not know who invented it, nor how exactly it works. The device was recovered in 1901 from an ancient ship that sank near the Greek island of Anticitera and was made around 150-100 BC. Mechanisms of similar complexity of the Hellenic culture had never been found.
9. Monument of the Sea of Galilee

A strange cone-shaped monument was discovered in 2013 by an underwater sonar from the Sea of Galilee, a freshwater lake in Israeli territory . The monument weighs about 60,000 tons and was built on the surface about 6,000 years ago. At the moment the researchers try to find out why the monument is under water: among the theories are tectonic movements, sediment accumulation and rising water levels.
10. Hum of Taos

For about 24 years, 2% of the village residents American Taos (New Mexico) and some visitors say they hear an unpleasant and stunning low frequency hum describing as if it sounded "a diesel engine through crystals". Despite a variety of theories that have been offered as an explanation - from some geological effects to underwater communications systems - scientists have not been able to clarify the nature of this phenomenon at the moment.
